A Message from the Board of Directors (March 13, 2020)
To our wonderful singers and friends of Tremble Clefs,
We recognize how vital our rehearsals are to the well-being of Tremble Clefs in San Diego. Nothing is more important than the safety of the individuals and families we serve. We have been following updates from the Centers for Disease Control regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
Given that our community is one of the most at-risk populations, we have reluctantly decided to cancel in-person rehearsals until April. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will make decisions on future events in the weeks to come. Please watch for updated email and FaceBook announcements.
We believe in the therapeutic and support value that Tremble Clefs offers the Parkinson’s community, but at this time, we feel the potential risk to public health must come first.
In lieu of in-person rehearsals at our San Diego, Encinitas and Rancho Bernado locations, we plan to arrange an online-streaming rehearsal process. We will send an update as soon as this is available, with instructions on how to access the system.
We urge everyone to follow the CDC and state health officials’ recommendations and together we can help mitigate the effects of this global pandemic.
Warmly yours, Matthew Ignacio and the Tremble Clefs San Diego Board of Directors
