Emory D’Andrea

Director and Speech-Language Pathologist

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, and founder of VoiceFitPRO Speech Therapy Inc. My work with Tremble Clefs is at the heart of my professional mission: to promote healing, connection, and joy through the power of voice. As a board member, I am committed to strengthening the bridge between clinical voice therapy and group singing—ensuring members receive a supportive, well-rounded program that enhances vocal strength, swallow function, social connection, and confidence. I believe deeply in the community’s ability to empower its members, and in the importance of staying socially engaged for cognitive health and quality of life.

Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, I was inspired to enter the field of Speech Therapy by my best friends, who are identical twins and had speech impediments. After moving to Encinitas, California in 2019, I began my career in inpatient neurorehabilitation and have spent nine years specializing in neuro-based communication and swallowing disorders. Witnessing a growing gap in services for individuals with Parkinson’s motivated me to launch VoiceFitPRO, a telehealth practice dedicated to helping people maintain their voice, independence, and joy.

Outside my professional commitments, I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, yoga, and exploring new cultures. I'm known for remembering every song lyric, falling asleep anywhere, and rewatching The Lord of the Rings more times than I'll admit. My favorite foods are sushi and Italian cuisine—especially when I visit my family’s homeland of Italy.
