My inspiration and involvement in joining Tremble Clefs began in 2017, when my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Experiencing firsthand the challenges he faced, I saw the profound impact that music and community could have on individuals living with this condition. There was also a band, which we joined. We had a wonderful time playing the ukulele and singing songs—sometimes off key—including show tunes, classic ballads, rock and roll, and uplifting songs that brought joy to both members and audiences.

Joining the Tremble Clefs band offered us a unique way to connect with others facing similar challenges, creating lasting friendships and support networks. Through shared musical experiences, we found joy and relief from the daily struggles associated with Parkinson’s, making each moment spent with the group truly meaningful. As the years passed, my involvement with the band grew into a treasured part of my life, enriching my sense of purpose and connection.

Each rehearsal and performance became an opportunity to witness the uplifting spirit that music brings—not only to those living with Parkinson’s, but to everyone involved. The group’s shared laughter, encouragement, and collective resilience fostered a supportive environment where members could express themselves freely and celebrate small victories together.
