Executive Director

I joined Tremble Clefs in March of 2024 after more than 30 years serving in the field of Human Resources supported by a bachelors degree in Human Resources Administration. Throughout my career, my work has centered around people - listening carefully and helping create environments where individuals feel connected and supported to do their best. Stepping into this role felt like a natural next chapter for me.

Music has always been a big part of my life. I especially love the sounds of the 1970's. Earth, Wind & Fire is a longtime favorite. One of my most memorable experiences is performing “Let’s Groove Tonight” with my high school Swing Choir circa 1985. Most of my high school years were spent in Winona, Minnesota. During those years, I developed a deep appreciation for Prince. Once I received my driver’s license, a friend and I would make trips up to the Minneapolis area and sit outside of his purple home - hoping to catch a glimpse of movement.

My current taste in music is quite eclectic. I love live music and have have attended many concerts over the years - including Jack Johnson, BJ Thomas, Gino Vannelli, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Gladys Knight, Patti La Belle, The Doobie Brothers, Billy Joel, Taylor Swift, The Eagles, Chicago, Air Supply, Jim Brickman, and of course, Earth Wind and Fire! I also love the music of Yo-Yo-Ma, and the meaningful lessons and stories within the music of Tim McGraw, Kenny Rogers and Trace Adkins! Music has always felt grounding, expressive, and connective to me, which makes my service to Tremble Clefs feel deeply aligned with who I am.

Water has played a similarly meaningful role in my life. Originally from Wisconsin, my family spent nearly every weekend at our lake home, about 40 miles north of our home in Green Bay. Some of my sweetest memories are rooted there - slow pontoon rides around the lake, water sports, lazy mornings, visiting ponds full of lily pads and noisy bullfrogs, mini bike rides along wooded paths, and long walks to the corner store for candy. Once in Minnesota, it was the currents of the Mississippi River that fascinated me. In North Carolina, it was the Atlantic Ocean. In Chicago, it was Lake Michigan. I’ve always been drawn to water. I find it deeply calming, healing, and life-giving.

I have lived here in San Diego since 2003. Being close to the ocean, bays, and nearby lakes makes this feel like exactly where I belong. One day, I hope to have a pontoon boat that I keep on Mission Bay. I dream of rides at dusk - my music playing, friends gathered, watching the sunset drift across the water with visits from sea birds and signs of life in the water beneath me.

I am the mother of two beautiful young people - a son, already a young adult, and daughter, a teenager in high school.

I am also an animal advocate. We share our home with four rescued dogs. I am always willing to help find an ideal home for an animal in need.

I love dark coffee, and long rides in the car - especially along our stunning Southern California coastline!

I am so very honored to have been chosen to lead Tremble Clefs. Fostering a mission that brings strength and joy into so many lives through music feels both meaningful and deeply personal to me.
