Director

In my many years on this planet, I have ventured from Massachusetts to California, stopping in Cincinnati, St. Louis, Sun Valley, Idaho, and Seattle along the way. I have dabbled mostly in retail, working at Nordstrom and Oceanside Photo & Telescope, to make my living. I have skied, skated, danced, and cycled across the country, and have traveled the world.

For forty years, my husband has been by my side through all my adventures, and he is with me still. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2009. He can no longer cycle, dance, or ski, but followed the advice of those who said, “Just keep moving—exercise is key,” and so we remain on the move as much as we can be. I am now his primary caregiver, and together we try to keep him engaged with life as much as possible.

Tremble Clefs is the activity he loves most, both for the voice therapy and the congenial company. I welcomed the chance to join the Board of Directors so that I could, in some small way, help ensure that Tremble Clefs San Diego will be able to continue moving onward and upward for many years to come. With Tremble Clefs, we go all around town, singing and sharing our message with as many people as possible. We even have parties—You should come join us!
